April is nearly here, and you know what it means – it’s time for the A2Z Blogging Challenge!
In case you’re unaware, the A2Z Blogging Challenge is held every year in April. Bloggers around the world write a blog post every day of the month, excluding Sundays. Generally, the blogger chooses a theme and writes on topics around that theme, starting with a different letter of the alphabet every day. This year, the calendar looks like this:

Decor Styles 101!
Yes, we are going to learn about various decor styles this April. You’ve probably heard about some of them, like Scandinavian, Farmhouse etc. and we’re going to cover these and many more – 26 in all!
So why should you bother about decor styles? Here’s a question: do you bring home furniture or decor pieces of furnishings, but no matter how you try it doesn’t seem to ‘fit’ together?
No, it doesn’t mean you have terrible taste, it’s probably because the various pieces aren’t in sync with your decor style. Even if you aren’t a decor enthusiast, chances are that you’re spending a lot of your time at home these days, what with the pandemic and all. So if you put in a teeny bit of effort to get your decor in sync, you’ll be surprised at how your space can be transformed! When your home interiors are in harmony, you’ll automatically feel balanced and a little less stressed.
While studying decor styles in detail is something that requires a lot of time, this A2Z challenge will cover 26 different decor styles quickly, explaining the following:
- What each style means
- What are the main identifying features
- If this style is right for you
- How to include this style in your home
Once you’re through with the series, you’ll have a basic idea of some major decor styles (and some not so mainstream ones). This should help you choose a decor style for your space and make a few changes to get your interior looking harmonious and pleasing.
So how does that sound? Now you know my theme and you know where to find me – so let’s meet in April!
