When you’re a blogger or the owner of your own website, it’s easy to fall by the wayside as you get consumed by home management, kids or your day job. In may case, it was all of the above, and after the exciting (exhausting) A2Z challenge of April, the blog has been rather silent – but not anymore!

Thanks to Blogchatter, we’ve got ourselves all geared up for the June Half Marathon – a challenge where we post 10 blog posts within 15 days. The Fab Home is participating in its very first Half Marathon this year, and today is a grand day – it’s the theme reveal!

Blogchatter Half Marathon Theme Reveal: Recycling Series

Yes, for the rest of this month, we’re talking recycling! It was World Environment Day on 5th June, and it’s Upcycling Day on 24th June. What’s more, 3rd July is International Plastic Bag Free Day, so you see where I’m going with this!

We generate a lot of trash – that’s a fact. When the lockdown started last year, we had to save our trash for a week before they came to collect it. That’s when I realized how much waste was generated by a family of two adults and one child!

So let’s cut down on waste by turning trash into treasure. Over the next fifteen days, I’ll feature 10 different materials that you can recycle in different ways to use in and around your home. The first post will go live tomorrow, and you can wait and see what it’s going to be about!

The recycling series is going to be an ongoing series on the blog and not restricted to these ten posts. However, we are kickstarting the series now, and this should get the ball rolling. See you tomorrow, as the first post in this series goes live – and gives you loads of ideas!
